The City of El Segundo offers a wide variety of family-friendly special events ranging from concerts to holiday celebrations with the goal of promoting art, entertainment and cultural options to members of our community. We encourage community groups to participate in our events and we often have areas designated for local groups, teams and clubs. We have event sponsorships available for those who are interested in helping us grow our events. Upcoming events are listed in our calendar, hope to see you there!

Our Hometown Fair is the first weekend in May. There are bouncers, games, food, contests and much more.

Our celebration for our "Older American of the Year" and all of our older adults in the  community.

in the Park

Our concert series begins on Father's Day and features weekly
themed crafts for kids, food trucks and our famous hula-hoop contest.

We celebrate each 4th of July with a daytime event featuring family races, water balloon toss, community groups and games. Then we sit back, relax and enjoy our firework show in the evening.

The Family Campout is our annual event in August. Enjoy a night in the park under the stars! Crafts, s'mores, movies and more!

A family friendly event featuring costume contest, pumpkin contest, bouncers, food trucks and more!

Tree Lighting

Our annual Holiday Tree Lighting event the first Thursday in December and features crafts, entertainment and a holiday craft boutique.

Fly a kite day
We are always trying to add or create new events. This year look for another Go-Fly-a-Kite Day and a brand new event in February called Tiny Tot Valentine's Tea Party.  Hope to see you there!
