Recreation Volunteer Opportunities

Adults

Home Delivered Meals Program

Volunteer drivers are needed for the El Segundo Home Delivered Meals Program on a regular or substitute basis. Must have a valid Driver's License and current proof of insurance. If interested, contact the Outreach Office at 310-524-2706. 

Youth

Youth Volunteer Program

The El Segundo Youth Volunteer Program teaches valuable skills, develops leadership skills, interpersonal skills and promotes a sense of accomplishment all while giving back to the community. Volunteer opportunities include Spring, Summer, and Winter Camps. Space is limited and will be granted on a first come, first-served basis. This year's applications are due via email to dzamora@elsegundo.org.

Teen Advisory Committee

The Teen Advisory Committee needs you! Have a say in what you and your peers would like to see happen in the city for teens. TAC members meet monthly to identify teen needs, suggest creative solutions, work with City officials, and assist with special events. If you are in 7th-12th grade and are an El Segundo resident or enrolled in El Segundo Unified School District apply today to make a difference in your community. Applications Due November 9, 2021. Become a Literary Tutor and help adults meet their literacy goals through our one-on-one Adult Literacy Program.

Friends of the El Segundo Public Library

Join the Friends of the El Segundo Public Library to help generate community interest and support for the library.

History Committee

Help our History Committee with organizing and providing access to historical photos and records.
