George Brett Field is located in the northeast corner of Recreation Park and is home to the 2023 El Segundo Little League Baseball World Series Champions, slow pitch softball, AYSO soccer and other events throughout the year.

The Recreation Park softball field hosts El Segundo High School games and El Segundo girls softball team throughout the year, along with playing an integral part in the City's annual 4th of July celebration.

Reservations

Cost

-$30.50 per hour for El Segundo residents with a valid Recreation ID
-$61 per hour - El Segundo resident without a valid Recreation ID
-$91 per hour – Non-Resident user.

-Visit www.esrec.org
-Once on the website, log into your existing account or if it is your first time, create an account
-Once logged in, select the Facility Rental Requests tab followed by Recreation Park
-Select either George Brett Field or the Softball Field
-Check availability of the field by referring to “available times”
-Click on the date and time you are interested in
-Select the adult account member that will be using George Brett or Softball Field during the reservation time. An adult over 18 must be on the account to complete the reservation and waiver
-Once the cart pops up hit “Checkout”
-Click on the square to the left of “I agree” to adhere to all of our guidelines, and then click “submit responses”
-Sign the waiver (Please note, the waiver must be signed by an adult and is mandatory for entry)
-Enter payment information and click complete transaction
-Please look over guidelines available on your receipt and below prior to arriving at our facility

Guidelines

• All individuals understand and fully accept that they are using this facility at their own risk.
• Physical distancing of six (6) feet must be maintained at all times.
• The number of participants must all be members of the same household.
• Participants must bring their own face coverings, water bottles, and hand sanitizer or disinfecting wipes to sanitize their hands frequently.
• Participants must check-in with the Checkout Building Staff located at the Checkout Building.
• George Brett and Softball Fields are available for use with an ONLINE reservation only. No walk-ups.
• Reservations may be made up to (7) days in advance, and up to 3 days prior to reservation date and time. If a reservation is not claimed after 15 minutes of the reserved time, the reservation is forfeited.
• No spectators, competitions, or outside instruction will be allowed.
• Be respectful. No profanity, abusive language, or loud music.
• No tobacco, drug use, alcohol consumption or vaping of any kind permitted in public park. (ESMC Ord. 1140, 5-16-1989, Ord. 1344, 12-4-2001, Ord. 700, 7-22-1968)
• George Brett and Softball Fields are subject to closure due to any events of COVID-19 exposure, or lack of cooperation with health and safety guidelines.
• Users shall fully comply with all applicable State of California and County of Los Angeles Emergency Orders.

Cancellation Policy

Once the reservation is paid for, no refunds will be issued. Reservations can be moved once if the request is made 24 hours in advance of the reservation.
